An acupuncture session at Acumunity will involve needles in multiple areas of the body which may include the trunk, limbs and/or scalp. During an acupuncture session, other modalities may also be available as appropriate including; cupping; moxibustion; electro-acupuncture; and tuina.

Chinese Herbal Medicine is used in the management of a variety of conditions
At Acumunity we have a limited range of herbs on hand but can order any personalised formula to your house when needed! The herbs stocked at Acumunity are patent tablets of which you can expect to take 16-30 per day. Don’t worry, they’re tiny! Additional charger apply. These costs will be determined during your appointment.

Our private pain consults allow us to work with you using additional modalities if necessary such as electro-acupuncture and fire cupping! Existing patients can book a return pain consult at any time to better manage your pain and new patients can book a comprehensive pain consult that allows us to get to the root of your discomfort.
